Loch Lomond Rescue Boat

~Welcome to the Loch Lomond Rescue Boat website~

The Loch Lomond Rescue Boat (LLRB) was founded in 1977 from monies donated by an unknown sailor, and is a Recognised Scottish Charity (SC 020014). Throughout the years the LLRB has gone from strength to strength, thanks to grant assistance from the local council, and the goodwill of the publlic and local businesses.

The principle function of the LLRB is to ensure that a rescue service is provided for the public at all times, and to encourage and promote all aspects of safety in and around the waters of Loch Lomond.  These include the safety of persons using boats, canoes, wind-surfers, jet skis and other vessles on the Loch. The LLRB also provides rescue boat cover for a variety of events which take part in the Loch throughout the year, including the Live at Loch Lomond music festival.
